Agfamatic 100 sensor

A pocketable 110‑cartridge camera from the early seventies — rebuilt in Fusion 360, flashcubes and all.

The Agfamatic 100 sensor is a tiny black box of a camera from 1972 — a 110‑cartridge point‑and‑shoot with a fixed‑focus Agfa Colorstar Parator lens and a hot socket for disposable flashcubes on top. I still own mine, so this one got the calipers treatment too: every bezel, logo diamond and leather‑grain panel measured off the real thing.

Leatherette, chrome, glass

On the desk with a pair of Osram flashcubes. The “sensor” referred to the automatic exposure system — there’s no viewfinder diopter, no aperture ring, no fuss. Point, press, wind on.

Macro on the Agfa rhombus. The body is wrapped in a pebbled leatherette that behaves very differently under light than polycarbonate — a good excuse to push the shader further than strictly necessary.
