2016
Swedish tech company Accigo asked me to assist in UX- and visual design for the eyeglass company Synsam. The task was to create a user friendly CRM system, where the user could manage various types of subscriptions of glasses an end customer would have.
The project was initially just an assignment to "have a look at the overall brand colours and perhaps a form or two", but as I started I couldn't help to redesign other pages as well.
One could say that we worked in an "agile workflow" (in a time where almost noone explicitly did that), meaning that I could hand over a designed module/page/whatnot to the developers, and they started to implement and test.
Then, I changed what needed to be redesigned and the changes got sent back into the development enviromnent. Everything in sync with constant feedback from the customer.
Looking back at the end result, I realise that some of the UX-decisions wasn't all kosher. But then again, it worked (still do).
The best end user comment I got came from a Synsam store manager in Finland. After seeing the CRM system in action, she said "I want to kiss the designer who made this".
