I was hired by communication agency Pixelpitch to help develop a concept and visual design for the Swedish union Unionen and their campaign “Löneratorn.” The campaign's goal was to give insight into what an employee should earn depending on profession, experience, etc., and advice on negotiating salary with the employer.
Below is an early pencil sketch of how I saw the "machine" could look and function. Eventually, we went for a more flat design of the functionality. Not to say the design itself was flat, but you know what I mean, I hope.
In the light of the past years of flat design and non-skeuomorphic aesthetics, it was super-fun actually to be able to bring out those FPS-paintbrushes and scratched metal plate looks 😇
